Andrew M. Harvey

Andrew Harvey is known for his client-focused approach, which allows him to tailor strategies to meet the unique needs of each case. He is a skilled, detail-oriented negotiator and litigator, consistently achieving optimal outcomes for his clients through meticulous preparation, persuasive writing, and effective advocacy.

In 2025, he received recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and on The National Trial Lawyers: 40 Under 40 list.

Mr. Harvey's diverse civil litigation practice includes business, construction, commercial, fiduciary, financial, and securities-related disputes in state and federal court. In addition to his robust civil litigation practice, Mr. Harvey maintains a criminal defense practice.

Mr. Harvey graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He was a distinguished scholar of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and served as Staff Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. In addition, Mr. Harvey worked as a Student Attorney in the University of Baltimore Community Development Clinic where he represented clients seeking business formation assistance and advised on a range of business law and legislative matters. Before and during law school, Mr. Harvey worked full time as a law clerk at a prominent Baltimore-based personal injury firm, providing services in the employment law, medical malpractice, and toxic tort departments.

After graduating from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Mr. Harvey served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable C. Carey Deeley, Jr. of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. He joined Silverman Thompson as an associate in 2021.
